The Ram Brand was Major Help in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

The Ram truck brand continued its Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade tradition. For a ninth consecutive year the Ram brand had more than 20 trucks towing floats, with the trucks fully wrapped to complement three float designs. The three designs included Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Santa Claus and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Ram brand serves as the official truck of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade. The star of the parade has always been Santa Claus and Ram had made a special design for this year’s parade.

Ram was not only tasked with towing the floats, the truck fleet was needed to move other parade materials, tool containers, and crucial pieces to float structures. The Ram brand provides the parade with more than 70 trucks and Ram ProMaster commercial vans. The Ram 1500 has played a huge part in helping the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade keep on track without missing a beat. The 2023 Ram 1500 continues to offer the best towing capability on the market paired with top of the line performance and features. 

The 2023 Ram 1500 offers two engine options a V-6 and V-8 paired to a smooth right-speed automatic transmission. The two engines are assisted by a 48-volt hybrid system, the 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 engine has an option without the electric hybrid system. The rear suspension provides a smooth ride by using standard coil springs with optional air bags.
