Jeep Will Debut 60-Second Commercial During The 2023 NFL Super Bowl

The Jeep brand will debut a 60-second commercial during the two-minute break of the second quarter of the Super Bowl. There is currently little information about what the brand is going to advertise but we can only hope Jeep will showcase the 2023 Jeep Wrangler 4xe. The 2023 Jeep Wrangler is a plug-in hybrid which is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four-cylinder. The 2023 Jeep Wrangler 4xe combines two electric motors, and a 400-volt battery pack that provides 21 miles of all-electric range, 49 MPGe, instant torque, and virtually silent off-roading. The 2023 Wrangler 4xe offers a traditional body-on-frame design, front and rear fiv-link suspension system, solid axles, electronic lockers, an 8-speed automatic transmission, and E-Selec driving modes, including eSave mode that stocks battery power for later use.
The 2023 Jeep Wrangler 4xe includes a few new features for the 2023 model year including two brand new exterior colors, Earl and Reign, which will be available at the launch of the 2023 model year. Earl will be replacing Snozzberry which is a gray color with an aquamarine tint to it. Reign is a limited edition purple color, which is the first time purple has been presented on Wrangler JL models. Rubicon models will be receiving new wheel designs, with new WGQ 17-inch wheel designs with blue Willy’s logo accents. Like all newer Jeep vehicles, Wranglers fender decals will feature an American flag. There will be three different trims available for the Wrangler, Sahara Unlimited 4xe, Rubicon Unlimited 4xe, and the Sahara High Altitude Unlimited 4xe.
The Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 4xe’s battery pack is 400-volt, 17-kWh 96-cell lithium-ion. The battery uses nickel manganese cobalt (NMC) graphite chemistry. The pack and controls are underneath the second-row seat, which leaves them from the outside elements. The second-row seat of the Wrangler Unlimited has been redesigned, which allows the bottom cushion to flip forward to access the battery. The battery pack is enclosed in an aluminum housing, it is fitted with a dedicated heating and cooling circuit to keep the battery at its peak temperature for the finest performance.
The temperature control circuit features a dedicated heater unit and a chiller that utilizes the Wrangler air-conditioning refrigerant to reduce coolant temperature when necessary. The PHEV system incorporates an Integrated Dual Charging Module, which merges a battery charger and a DC/DC converter in a single unit that is more compressed than two separate components, and a next-gen Power Inverter Module that is reduced in size. The components are stored and protected from damage in a steel arrangement placed under the battery pack.
All 2023 Wrangler Unlimited 4xe trims come with an 8.4-inch Uconnect 4C touchscreen with pinch-and-zoom capability. The system provides communication, entertainment, and navigation settings that buyers of the Jeep Wrangler have come to expect. These features also include Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability. Models with the Uconnect touchscreen can choose to use the TrailCam forward-facing off-road camera; it’s accessible through the Off-Road Pages setting on the touchscreen. Drivers will have access to a plethora of infotainment features at their disposal with SiriusXM Radio, Travel Link, Traffic, and Guardian Connected Services that provide real-time information.
