The wait is almost over! The long-awaited release of Dodge’s next generation charger has finally announced its release. The smoke from the original teaser will clear out and unveil what the Dodge brand has in store for its fans across the world. For some time the brand has released teasers and hints of what they have been designing, on Tuesday March 5, 2024, at 11 am ET they will reveal the new Dodge Charger. Electrifying one of its most successful vehicles is only the start of the brand’s plans. The event can be viewed online at Dodge.com, Tim Kuniskis, Dodge brand CEO will unveil the vehicle. After all the hints Dodge enthusiasts have some ideas of what it will look like.

Dodge will have to embrace the electrification era and simply find ways of creating the most powerfully electric muscle car. The new electric muscle car carries a triangular emblem in front with the color blue and is also found in the rear but in red. The same style of the Fratzog badge from the 1962-1976 Dodge models. Although the Dodge brand has announced the end of some of the most powerful engines in the world, fans are very excited for what the future holds in the electric muscle segment.

The Dodge Charger should feature a fastback roofline and LED lighting showing a square front like that of the 1969 Dodge Charger. The front of the car has a long white LED light bar, with a lighted emblem right in the center of the grille. The car is to be built on the STLA Large platform, one of four of the Stellantis battery electric vehicle platforms. The automaker  hinted at a maximum power output of as high as 886 horsepower courtesy of a pair of 330-kilowatt electric motors.

The last of the Dodge Charger was the 2023 model year and is known for its mighty Hemi V-8 under the hood that is paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission and standard rear-wheel drive. Many trims also carry a V-6 engine as standard. The V-8 Scat Pack models offer the most power, with a 6.4-liter engine that generates 485-horsepower, the 5.7-liter V-8 engine models offer 370 horsepower and the V-6 models pump out 292-horsepower. Dodge fans are excited to find out what the brand will unveil and how it will change the future of muscle cars.
